Suleman Badat
Prior to establishing Resilient Advisory, Suleman held positions as a Partner in an international audit and advisory firm, as the Chief Risk Officer & Chief Audit Executive at a global energy company and as an executive at the Auditor-General South Africa.
He is an experienced non-executive director who served on the King Committee, where he contributed to the development of the King IV code on corporate governance.
He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Chartered Director (SA), which is an attestation of his mastery of knowledge, skills and experience of directorship and corporate governance.
In his personal capacity, Suleman founded a humanitarian non-profit organisation where he served as a Trustee, and he has been actively involved in various initiatives to assist NPO’s to improve their governance practices and processes.
